Role Summary

Cully Automation are recruiting for an Engineering Delivery Manager who will lead a team of Automation and SCADA engineers. This role is responsible for the end-to-end technical engineering process through detailed design to completion. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager, and the role is based out of our Leixlip office with some travel included. The position is a full time, permanent role and subject to a 6 month probationary period.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • To manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the Automation and SCADA activities group.
  • Management and control of the design process in the design development phase as well as installation and commissioning phases including documentation.
  • Responsible for the scheduling of day to day activities as well as the technical development of the Automation and SCADA group.
  • Support the sales team in providing high quality, reliable and optimised solutions to our clients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across all functions to keep the customer as the focus of all our activities
  • Ensure design documentation is provided within the agreed programme.
  • Resolve technical and product related issues in a proactive manner.
  • Ensure design compliance with contract requirements, industry practice and relevant legislation
  • Attend customer, product supplier and project contractor meetings as required.
  • Maintain an awareness of relevant current technology and ensure engineers update their skills and knowledge these new developments.
  • Ensure Cully Automation technical standards, policies and processes are applied and continuously improved.

Key Capabilities & Skills Required

  • Primary degree in electronic, IT, instrumentation or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in managing a variety of automation or infrastructure engineering projects to client requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse teams; find ways to move forward.
  • Experienced in providing technical leadership and developing competence within a team.
  • Experience of water and waste water industry a distinct advantage
